2. Mother’s Day Restaurant Picks: Here’s 10 restaurants to celebrate Mother’s Day in Montgomery County, according to Alex Tsironis.

3. Keeping it Affordable: The Affordable Housing Conference of Montgomery County holds its annual conference starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Bethesda North Marriott Conference Center. At 11:45 a.m., the organization honors former HUD secretary Julian Castro.

4. Waverly Street Art Gallery Opening Reception: The gallery holds it’s 25th Anniversary opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m.
