1. Small Business Network: Peter Franchot headlines the Small Business Network today at MCM’s studios. Watch the livestream on the MyMCMedia.org website beginning at 9 a.m.
2. Council Committee Meetings: The T&E Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the proposed capital improvement transportation budget. A joint T&E and GO Committee meets today to discuss a property tax credit known as the Green Building tax credit. Read the staff report here.
3. County Green Business Program Announcement: County Executive Ike Leggett will announce the expansion of the Green Business Certification Program at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood at 11 a.m.
4. Planning Board Business: The planning board meets today and will hold their fourth work session on the Bicycle Master Plan. A copy of their full agenda may be found here.
5. Basketball State Semifinals: Congratulations to our Regional Basketball Champs: Gaithersburg Trojans (boys 4A), Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (girls 4A), and Poolesville Falcons (girls 2A). Good luck to the Trojans who play Perry Hall – defending state champions – at the University of Maryland Xfinity Center and the Barons who play Catonsville – defending state champions – at the Towson University SECU arena tonight.
