Here are five things to know for Tuesday, June 5, in Montgomery County:

1. Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals are just one game away from winning the Stanley Cup after the team defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 6-2 in Game 4. #ALLCAPS!

2. Iftar Dinner: The Montgomery County Muslim Foundation will celebrate County Executive Ike Leggett’s last year in office with an Iftar Dinner tonight in the County Executive Cafeteria. Iftar is the dinner eaten after sunset to break the fast each day during the month of Ramadan.

4. Caribbean American Advisory  Group Open House: The Montgomery County Executive’s Caribbean American Advisory Group (CAAG) is kicking of it’s month long membership drive with an open house. In honor of Caribbean American Heritage Month this June, the group is encouraging residents to join CAAG.
