Five Things to Know for June 13 in Montgomery County

Here are five things to know for Wednesday, June 13, in Montgomery County:

1. Crisis Intervention: Montgomery County 3rd District Police Station will host a community meeting on crisis intervention today from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

3. MCPS Budget: Montgomery County’s Board of Education unanimously approved a more than $2 billion dollar budget for Fiscal Year 2019 Operating Budget during its  Tuesday meeting.

4. Rockville Public Safety Awards: Members of the Rockville City Police Department, Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation will be honored for their service to the community.

5. Capital Crescent Trail: Montgomery Parks will host a community meeting to discuss how to improve safety for the Capital Crescent Trail.  This project will focus on the crossing at Little Falls Parkway.  The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  in the Somerset Elementary School cafeteria, located at 5811 Warwick Place in Chevy Chase.
