1. Korean War Veterans Armistice Day 65th Anniversary: Mission BBQ will honor Korean War veterans with a free sandwich at all locations of the barbecue restaurant. On July 27 in 1953, multiple nations signed an armistice suspending all hostilities and created the Demilitarized Zone, DMZ, along the 38th parallel. A holiday was declared for July 27 as the Korean War Veterans Armistice Day.
2. Be Your Own Boss: Maryland Women’s Business Center will share tips to start your own business at 5 p.m. at Rockville Memorial Library. Meeting is free, register, here.

4. Movie Night in Gaithersburg: Paddington Bear 2 is playing on the big screen at the Casey Community Center in Gaithersburg.
5. Annual Farm Tour and Harvest Sale: Nineteen farms are participating in this year’s Farm Tour Saturday and Sunday, July 28 – 29. Tours are free and many farms will have hayrides, pony rides, music, and demonstrations.
And one more thing, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Barnesville is hosting their 143rd annual Chicken Dinner and Jousting Tournament Saturday, July 28th from noon to 7 p.m. (the jousting tournament is from 1 – 4 p.m.)
