1. Supplying School Supplies: Montgomery County Public Schools launches its 19th annual Drive for Supplies with an event at 9 a.m. at the Montgomery Village Middle School cafeteria, 19300 Watkins Mill Road. The supplies come from MCPS students and staff who collect and donate supplies as they clean out lockers, desks and closets at the end of the school year. Last year, MCPS distributed more than 4,000 pounds of school supplies.
2. New Website: Rockville is scheduled to show off its new, improved website. Designed to make it easier to navigate, find information and use on any device, whether it’s a computer, tablet or smartphone.

4. CompStat Meeting: Takoma Park Police Chief Antonio DeVaul will lead a meeting to discuss CompStat, a data analysis effort to manage law enforcement operations based on crime data or other issues. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the City building, 7500 Maple Ave., in the council auditorium on the second floor.
