Five Things to Know for July 10 in Montgomery County

Here are five things to know for Tuesday, July 10, in Montgomery County:

1. Council Session: It’s a busy day full of public hearings and appointment confirmations for the Montgomery County Council. See the full agenda by clicking here. 

2. Bicycle Master Plan Public Hearing: There’s a public hearing tonight on the County’s Bicycle Master Plan with the Montgomery County Council.  The meeting will take place in the Third Floor Hearing Room, located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville and begins at 7:30 p.m.

3. Cone with a Cop: Montgomery County Police Department’s Sixth District will host “Cone with a Cop” from 1 to 2:30 p.m., at Bruster’s Real Ice Cream,18519 Frederick Road in Gaithersburg.

4. Seventh Grade Immunization Clinic: Free Tdap and MCV4 vaccinations to incoming seventh-grade students at the Dennis Avenue Health Center, 2000 Dennis Avenue in Silver Spring.

5. Housing Providers Forum:

Rockville’s Department of Community Planning and Development’s Housing Division will hold a housing providers forum on applying for Community Development Block Grant funding, 9-11:30 am Tuesday, July 10, in City Hall’s Mayor and Council chambers. #CDBG pic.twitter.com/WPUwFBvwRR
