2. Winter Speaker Series: The Planning Department’s winter speaker series continues tonight.

3. BRT Open House: The County’s Department of Transportation will host an open house for the BRT line that will feature interactive stations to learn more about the project. This is a family-friendly event featuring a children’s activity area.
4. Budget Talk: Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is holding a budget forum at the Mid-County Community Center, 2004 Queensguard Road in Silver Spring to seek input from residents about Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19) Operating Budget priorities.
5.Volunteers Needed: Volunteers needed for the County’s annual Point-in-Time survey of homeless persons in Montgomery County. Training begins at 9 p.m. at the DHHS, 1301 Piccard Drive 1st Floor Conference Rooms A-C in Rockville; and 1 Veteran Plaza in Silver Spring.
