1. New Police Station: The Bethesda police district gets a new police station at 4823 Rugby Ave. County Executive Ike Leggett and other officials will cut the ribbon at 1:30 p.m.

2. Savings Plan: The Council’s Health and Human Services Committee considers nearly $2 million in cuts as part of Leggett’s effort to trim $120 million from the county’s current budget. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m.

3. Meet the Media: Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer meets reporters at 11:30 a.m. Amazon’s selection of Montgomery County as one of 20 potential sites for the company’s HQ2 is guaranteed to be on his agenda.

4. Voting by Mail: The Rockville Mayor and Council considers a proposal to permit voting by mail in city elections. Here’s the full night’s agenda.

5. Dockless Bikeshare: County officials will be asking for public comment on the new dockless bikeshare programs in the county at a meeting at the Silver Spring Civic Building, starting at 7 p.m.
