Five Things to Know For Jan. 17 in Montgomery County
Here’s five things to know today, Wednesday, Jan. 17, in Montgomery County:
1. Slippery Roads: The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for our area until to 11 a.m. The Service said the heaviest will come right about 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., for the morning commute.
Snow continues right now. It will slowly taper off as we head through the day. Additional accums will be light, mostly less than an inch, except in central VA where higher amounts are likely. Snow in the metro should be done before noon, but will linger later in S MD and C VA. pic.twitter.com/Yl2HKa82QG
