Here’s five things to know today, Thursday, Dec. 21, in Montgomery County:

1. Liquor License Hearings: Montgomery County Board of License Commissioners will hold a hearing on applications at the Council Office Building. Here’s the agenda.

2. Free Child Safety Seat Inspection: Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Rockville is offering free child safety seat inspections. No appointment is needed, just show up between 10:00AM – 12:00PM.

3. Holiday Caroling and Concert: Enjoy eggnog and hot cider while singing holiday tunes at the White Oak Senior Center in Silver Spring from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

4. Heart Health Class: This class provides information and resources on how to maintain good heart health, which prevents and manages diabetes. The class takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ross Boddy Community Recreation Center, 18529 Brooke Road in Sandy Spring.
