1. Council Session: An update on County Fiscal Plan and economic indicators is on the Montgomery County Council’s agenda for today’s session.
2. Hanukkah: Begins at sundown. Jewish families celebrate Hanukkah by lighting a special Menorah with eight candles plus a ninth shammash candle (server used to light the others).
3. Georgia Avenue: Larry Cole, MNCPPC highway coordinator and a Woodside Park resident will host a discussion on the topic of “Making Georgia Avenue for Everyone in Montgomery Hills” at the Silver Spring Civic Center.
4. Wheaton Library Furniture Survey: Residents are invited to join in a survey of proposed furniture for the New Wheaton Library.
