Here are five things you need to know for Wednesday, Aug. 8, in Montgomery County:

1. White Investigation Continues: County Executive Ike Leggett and Police Chief Tom Manger talk about the next steps in the investigation into the death of Robert White.

2. Missing Sisters: Police are searching for two Silver Spring sisters who have been missing since Saturday, Aug. 4.

3. STD Increase: The county Health Department revealed Monday that the County has the highest rates of sexually transmitted diseases in a decade. The county plans to offer condoms in schools as part of their strategy to combat this trend.

4. Strathmore Outdoor Concert: Erin & The Wildfire perform at 7 p.m. as part of Strathmore’s Live from the Lawn series of free summer concerts.
