Five Critically Injured After Wreck on Norbeck Road
Two cars collided on Norbeck Road on Friday sending several people to the hospital, a Montgomery County police statement said.
The wreck occurred about 7 p.m. near Westbury Road, police said.
Police said a Ford Focus was traveling westbound on Norbeck Road when it struck a Ford E-150 van that was making a left turn from Westbury Road onto westbound Norbeck Road, police said.
The Focus then struck a brick sign on the side of the roadway, police said.
The driver of the van suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, police said.
The Focus contained a juvenile female driver, an adult female passenger, and three juvenile females in the rear passenger seats, police said. All occupants were taken to local hospitals with critical injuries.
