Firefighters Investigate Cause of Barn Blaze at Woodmont Country Club (VIDEO)
Over 75 firefighters responded to a barn building fire at the Woodmont Country Club overnight in Rockville.
It happened in the 1200 block of Rockville Pike last night around 11 p.m., according to a Montgomery County fire official.
Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the barn fire is contained and under control. The roof of the maintenance barn did collapse, Piringer added. There were no injuries.
Firefighters remain on fire watch at the scene for environmental reasons, according to Piringer.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
Piringer said fire damages are significant.
