House Fire on Henderson Avenue in Silver Spring
Montgomery County firefighters responded to a house fire around 1:30 p.m. on March 1 in the 2600 block of Henderson Avenue in Silver Spring.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and investigators said the cause was an electrical malfunction. Damage is estimated at $40,000.
Residents were alerted to the blaze by the home’s smoke alarm. According to the fire department’s Twitter account, one occupant was evaluated for minor injuries.
