Fire in Silver Spring Home Displaces Two People, Seven Cats (PHOTOS)
Montgomery County firefighters had to resuscitate several cats after a small fire at a home off Aquarius Drive today.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer reported the fire at 3012 Aquarius Drive about 3 p.m. today. It displaced two of the people who lived there and at least seven cats. Several more are still unaccounted for, he said. Piringer described the home as “hoarding conditions.” He said the home did not have any working smoke alarms.
