Final Used Book Sale at Stone Ridge School

Stone Ridge’s 46th annual Used Book Sale will take place April 11-14 in the three gyms on campus, 9101 Rockville Pike, Bethesda. This will be the final used book sale at Stone Ridge. Catherine Ronan Karrels, Head of School explains the decision to not continue the book sale after this year. Read her letter here.

The schedule of the four day book sale:
Friday, April 11 · 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 12 · 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday, April 13 (Half-Price Day) · Noon-6 p.m.
Monday, April 14 ($10 Bag-of-books Day) · 5-8 p.m.

Stone Ridge posted the following facts about the used book sale:

• “Stone Ridge’s Used Book Sale is a community event, first held in 1968. Proceeds support Stone Ridge’s scholarship fund. All of the books we sell were donated by community members throughout the year. We are incredibly grateful for all of our donors.
• The sale offers 125,000 books for sale over four days, in three gymnasiums. We restock continuously, so there is always something new appearing on the tables.
• If you are a first-time shopper, we welcome you! We have over 80 categories of books, including an excellent children’s book selection.
• If you are a returning customer, we appreciate your loyalty over the years.
