Extreme Cold Plan Activated for Friday Morning in Montgomery County
Montgomery County has activated the Extreme Cold Plan for a hypothermia alert from 2 until 10 a.m. Friday morning.
A hypothermia alerts is issued when forecasted temperatures, and or wind chill, fall below 32 degrees. Hypothermia and frostbite are likely to occur.
People can call the police non-emergency number to report animals and homeless individuals who are in danger: 301-279-8000.
