The Takoma Park Folk Festival returns on September 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Takoma Park Middle School, 7611 Piney Branch Road. The festival features children’s activities, juried crafts show and sale, and music on six stages. It takes place rain or shine and is free to all.

Enjoy music and dance from around the world on six stages. Some performances include audience participation. The Grassy Nook Stage will include activities for children of all ages. Children will enjoy folk singers, interactive musical games and dancing, and the opportunity to make music.

Enjoy food from around the world from a variety of food vendors, including Ben and Jerry’s,
Carmen’s Italian Ice, CynCole’s Catering, Delights of the Garden, East Fresh, Food Corner & Grill, Harry’s Fresh Squeezed Juices, Hoffman’s Quality Meats, Island Grill, Little Olive, Nittaya’s Grill, R.J. Cafe, Rita’s Concessions, Saleh’s Treats, Sherri’s Fun ?Foods, The Chicken Smells Good, and TK Grill.
