Elrich to Host Spanish Virtual Forum On Facebook Live Friday

On Friday, May 22 at 7:00 pm, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, accompanied by expert panelists, will hold a virtual forum in Spanish on Facebook to connect with the county’s Hispanic community and answer questions related to COVID-19.

The topics to be discussed will be:

• Maintaining Your Health During the Pandemic
• Emergency Assistance Payment Program (EARP)
• Tenant’s rights
• Food Security

Lorna Virgili, Montgomery County Government’s Latino Affairs Public Information Officer, spoke with MyMCMedia about this initiative that seeks to inform the county’s Hispanic community, which is estimated at 200,000 residents.
