Elrich: Housing Commission Needs to Work with Community over Graves

County Executive Marc Elrich had his first meeting with reporters Thursday. One of the topics that came up was the African cemetery under an apartment complex owned by the Housing Opportunities Commission. Four people were arrested Wednesday at an HOC meeting, protesting the commission’s lack of action to preserve the graves.
