Editing Video is the Answer

Every family has some form of a camera , point and shoot, maybe a step up to the SLR’s, even a small relatively inexpensive video camera. Nowadays, don’t even need a camera, still or video all you need is a phone and it can do it all.  You think about all this and do a lot of research and  go to the local electronics store or camera store and ask questions and spend more time on deciding what to get  than you would to buy a car. Hmmm, point an shoot , only stills, SLR’s now do stills and video , not a bad idea, video cameras do video but with a tap of a button can get a still also.  Many years ago people were taking video with their super 8 video camera with the film in a cartridge. You shot the 50 ft roll took it to the camera store to get developed and you couldn’t wait to get it back so you could see you kids in the sprinkler or your vacation video. It was great but there were people who tried to get the whole state of Florida on the 50 ft roll of film.Wouldn’t it have been good if you could just take those parts out that were bad easily instead of taking the razor and “cutting and pasting” it all back together,

Well technology has changed and computers came along and  editing what you shot got easier and faster.  People still take weird Dramamine warranted video but now can fix it,  but how. You spend all this money on a “good “camera but don’t want to spend a lot of time and  money on learning how to fix what you shot.
