Wanted: Earth Day Volunteers (Video)
Montgomery County’s Department of Environmental Protection is sponsoring a clean up day on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to noon to celebrate Earth Month. Volunteers must register prior to the event by sending an email to leslie.wilcox@montgomerycountymd.gov or calling 240.777.7780. Students may earn SSL hours. The cleanup will take place in the White Oak area of Silver Spring.
