Potomac resident Catherine Conway voted for the very first time on June 12.

Early voting is now underway at nine designated early voting centers in Montgomery County.

Potomac resident Catherine Conway (18) voted for the first time on June 12 when she cast her ballot at the Executive Office Building in Rockville.

Conway described the experience as “exciting.”

“There were way more people on the ballot than I expected,” Conway said.

During the first four hours on June 12 in Montgomery County, there were 1,388 ballots cast countywide. In case you are wondering, there are 676,084 registered voters in the county.

The busiest voting centers were in Silver Spring, Rockville, Wheaton and Gaithersburg.
