DV Camp: Week Two

The first week ended with the kids  learning the basics of reporting and how to use the cameras out in the field.  Week  2 began with the students taping outside,  to create a PSA on texting.  They got to act as well as use the cameras for shooting. In addition to shooting footage for  the PSA they began working as reporters, for the segment that will be part of their final project. Today is Tuesday and they are learning how to edit using Final Cut Pro, and will taking part in the editing of the footage captured.   Remember: Friday, Aug. 17 will be the last day of the class and will have a screening showing what they have  been doing during the two weeks with us.
