Duncan Releases ‘Leadership in Action’ Plan

At the Woman’s Democratic Club of Montgomery County County Executive Candidates’ Forum, candidate Doug Duncan announced his Leadership in Action plan, a policy blueprint for the future of Montgomery County. His plan can be found on Duncan’s website www.DougDuncan.com.

In an email to supporters Duncan said “My Leadership in Action agenda is a detailed plan for securing Montgomery County’s future. It includes ideas on a range of issues including plans to improve our schools, grow our economy, create jobs, keep our neighborhoods safe, reduce congestion, protect our environment, and make Montgomery an attractive place for tech savvy young people.”

Duncan made the announcement in downtown Silver Spring, an area he helped revitalize during his previous time as County Executive. The redevelopment has been hailed as a national model for urban renewal.

Downtown Silver Spring has been a point of contention between Duncan and his two democratic opponents, Phil Andrews and Ike Leggett.
