Montgomery County Councilmember Phil Andrews scoops rubber ducks out of the lake at Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg on Sept. 28 to help The Arc Montgomery County with its annual fundraiser.

About 10,000 ducks were placed in the lake, with supporters having a chance to ‘adopt’ a duck for a chance to win prizes. Councilmember Andrews collected the winning ducks.

The Arc is a non-profit organization whose programs support individuals and families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities.
