A house fire in the 900 block of McCeney Avenue on Wednesday night caused $675,000 in damages, according to a Montgomery County fire official.
Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said it took 65 firefighters about thirty minutes to bring the blaze at 909 McCeney Avenue under control.
According to Piringer, the family was home at the time of the fire and escaped unharmed.
Piringer said several vehicles in the garage were destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters believe the fire began in the garage, Piringer said, but the exact cause remains undetermined.
