Dolcezza Remains Open For The Holiday Season

Dolcezza, a gelato and coffee shop, will remain open on Bethesda Row this holiday season. The news was announced this Tuesday, Oct. 20, to Dolcezza lovers who will miss the store when it closes soon.

On their website, Dolcezza said their Bethesda and four D.C. locations will be closing during the month of October due to the impact that COVID-19 has had on their industry.

Dolcezza is an extremely popular neighborhood favorite, according to James Milam of Federal Realty.

“Bethesda Row has been a home to us for the last 15 years and we are grateful for the continued support from Federal Realty’s Bethesda Row neighborhood and surrounding community,” said Robb Duncan, co-founder of Dolcezza.

The cafe has served for the last 15 years seasonal small batch gelato, pastries and coffee from locally sourced ingredients.

To thank the community for their support Dolcezza will offer complimentary gelato to the first 50 patrons on Oct. 23.
