Gaithersburg’s K9 Max Passes Away
K9 Max of the Gaithersburg Police Department has passed away. Max, who was 12 and a half years old, was a member of the department for almost nine years starting as a one-year-old puppy until his retirement in 2015. He was the faithful partner of officer Eastman.
According to the police department, Max was their first cross-trained dog. He left a significant impact on the Gaithersburg community with his dedication and love for servicing the department.
