Distinguished Service Citation (Video)

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce hosted the public safety awards breakfast at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on Aug. 10. Dozens of police officers and firefighters were honored for their bravery and heroism.

In this video clip, Gaithersburg Police Chief Mark Sroka presents the Distinguished Service Citation to officers of the Gaithersburg Police Department, Montgomery County Police Department’s 6th District, City of Rockville Police Department’s K9 Section, Montgomery County Police Department’s 5th District, and Montgomery County Police K9 Section for their response to an assault and brawl on Muddy Branch Road on June 24 of this year.
