Director Appointed to Montgomery County Family Justice Center

Jefferson Plaza in RockvilleMontgomery County Sheriff Darren Popkin announced this week that Thomas Manion has been appointed director of the Montgomery County Family Justice Center (FJC) in Rockville, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.

The Montgomery County FJC is a community-wide collaboration of public and private agencies in a centralized location that assists domestic violence victims and families. Co-located within this facility are representatives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Police Department, States Attorney’s Office, Health Department, and private non-profit agencies.

Manion holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, with a specialization in suicide and violence prevention. For the past year, he has worked as the acting director of the FJC.
