There are many Jewish customs and practices that seem puzzling. Why, for instance, do Jewish people put stones on top of gravesite headstones instead of putting flowers on a grave?  Why is challah bread braided? Why do they say ‘mazel tov’ instead of congratulations or good luck? These and other questions are answered by Rabbi Geisinsky, a Chabad rabbi based on Bethesda, and asked by Rachamim Hedaya, a fellow who likes to ask questions.
