DHHS to Host Free Series for Youth and Parents on Substance Abuse Prevention

Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services will host a series of free presentations for youth and parents on topics such as substance abuse prevention and promoting positive attitudes, according to a news release.

The sessions will be held on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Presentations will be available for Spanish-speaking parents every second Wednesday of the month from 6 to 7 p.m.

Mental health professionals from Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services (CABHS) will lead the meetings.

The groups will meet at CABHS, located at 7300 Calhoun Place, Suite 700, Rockville.
