Detectives Investigate Armed Robbery at Silver Spring T.J. Maxx

Montgomery County Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on March 5th at the T.J. Maxx store located on Colesville Road in Silver Spring. Police have recently released photos and are asking for help in identifying the suspect.

After further investigating, police found that the suspect displayed a hand gun to the cashier and threatened her. According to an MCPD press release, the suspect also pointed his gun at a security guard in the process. Police say the suspect fled the store with stolen cash, and merchandise.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.  Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or an indictment for this crime.
