Debate on County Executive’s Budget (Video)

“21 This Week” guest host Susan Heltemes and the panel discuss County Executive Leggett’s budget that he presented earlier this month. Henry Hailstock, Past President Montgomery County Branch NAACP feels the budget does not address the achievement gap that continues in the public school system. Mark Uncapher, Chairman Montgomery County Republican Party, argues additional funding for the schools should be tied to the establishment of a state mandated teacher evaluation system. Rich Parsons, Former Executive Director Maryland Democratic Party feels the basis of the budget may not be sound given the current economy.Take a look.
