“Dealing with the Media” (Video)

A local public relations expert, Steve Simon of Van Eperen & Company, served as a panelist for Leadership Montgomery’s recent  “How to Run for Elected Office” workshop. He was joined by other panelists, including Montgomery County Council member Phil Andrews and former Montgomery County Council member Mike Knapp.

Simon talked about how important it is for candidates to be prepared for reporters’ questions, etc. He also addressed the new media, including local bloggers and citizen journalists.
