David Trone views on Candidates/Politicians Who Do Not Reside in Voting District

David Trone, candidate for the Democratic nominee in Maryland’s 6^th congressional district, participated in the May 3, 2018 Candidates’ Forum hosted by several Democratic clubs. Paul Bessel moderated the forum. Trone responded to this question:

Our current Congressman John Delaney represents us even though he doesn’t live in our district. Why should we vote for someone who doesn’t live in our district?

The forum included Andrew Duck, George English, Dr. Nadia Hashimi, Chris Hearsey, Roger Manno, Aruna Miller, and David Trone. Chris Graves did not attend the forum.
