Dave & Buster’s Opens at Ellsworth Place

Dave & Buster’s opened a new location in Montgomery County this week at Ellsworth Place in Downtown Silver Spring.

This is Dave & Buster’s second largest location in the region and the largest retail tenant at Ellsworth Place spanning 40,980 square feet to be exact.

According to a news release, owner-developer of Ellsworth Place Petrie Richardson Ventures (PRV) conducted a survey about the holiday shopping season that revealed social and entertainment features motivate shoppers to visit retail outlets instead of purchasing items online.

“Dave & Buster’s typifies how food, entertainment and socializing goes hand-in-hand with traditional retail—which will be especially fun during the holiday shopping season in a mall environment like Ellsworth Place,” Terry Richardson, president and COO of PRV, said. “Especially in the holiday season, shoppers are looking for shared experiences that the whole family can enjoy,” Richardson said. 

Ellsworth Place recently announced the openings of other retailers, including; Rue 21, Kung Fu Tea and Shoe City.
