Dancing For Brain Cancer Research (Photos & Video)

On Feb. 8, 41 Clarksburg High School students and six teachers serving as chaperones danced the night away. The main purpose was to raise money for research in memory of Clarksburg freshman Sam Moore, who died last August at age 15 after a long battle with a brain tumor. The all-night dance marathon raised $19,595 for the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation in Germantown. On April 23, the County Council recognized the dedicated efforts of the Clarksburg students, advisers and those that pledged support.
