Crown Groundbreaking
Gaithersburg officials will attend an official groundbreaking for the new Crown community on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. on the site of the new mixed use community.
Situated next to the popular Washingtonian Centre in the middle of Montgomery County’s science corridor, Crown will include homes, retails, a high school, and parks, trails and play areas.
Downtown Crown, the featured shopping area, has already signed up Harris Teeter, LA Fitness and several restaurants, according to the retail experts at JBG Rosenfeld Retail who will also unveil a scale model of Crown and identify the first restaurants at the Oct. 11 event.
Pulte Homes, KBHome and the Bozzuto Group will start building the first town homes and apartments in the coming months.
