Montgomery County police have reported these incidents from Nov. 6 to Nov. 14.
Thefts from vehicles
Rockville:
Two thefts from vehicles occurred between about 7 p.m. on Nov. 6 and about
7 a.m. on Nov. 7. One theft occurred in the 12800 block of Twinbrook Parkway and one theft occurred in the 12300 block of Village Square Terrace. No force; property was taken.
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between about 12 p.m. and about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11. Two thefts occurred in the 15800 block of Darnestown Road and multiple thefts occurred in the 18900 block of Beallsville Road. Force; cash and property were taken.
Silver Spring:
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Nov. 6 and Nov. 14. Affected streets included Fenwick, Merwood, Mount Pisgah and Fidler lanes; Cameron, Quebec, Ruatan and Arliss streets; Wayne, Roanoke, Garland, New Hampshire and 11th avenues; Roeder, Kilgore, Mount Pisgah, Braddock and Randolph roads; Quebec Terrace; and Daleview, Southampton, Oakview and Milestone drives. Force was reported in multiple events; cash, property and vehicle parts were taken.
Wheaton:
Three thefts from vehicles occurred between about 10 a.m. Nov. 13 and about 6:40 a.m. Nov. 14. Affected streets included Holdridge Road, Estelle Road, and Valleywood Road. Force was reported in one event; property was taken.
Germantown:
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Nov. 6 and Nov. 13. Affected streets included Apple Harvest and Dunstable circles; Aldburg and Crusader ways; Sandsfield Terrace; Frederick, Falling Star and Tapwood roads; Steeple Place; and Lark Song Drive. Force was reported in one event; cash and property were taken.
Montgomery Village:
Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 400 block of North Summit Avenue in the early morning hours of Nov. 10. No force; cash was taken.
Two thefts from vehicles occurred between Nov. 6 and Nov. 9. One theft occurred in the 10700 block of Donovan Court and one theft occurred in the 9500 block of Fern Hollow Way. No force; cash and property were taken.
Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 7600 block of Rickenbacker Drive between about 8:48 p.m. Nov. 10 and about 5 a.m. Nov. 11. Force; cash was taken.
Other incidents and arrests
Rockville
Two 19-year-olds were arrested — a man from Lanham and a woman from Salisbury — for a strong-arm robbery in the 5500 block of Beasley Court at about 12:25 p.m. Nov. 12. A third man about 18 years old is also sought. A man was assaulted and his property taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 5200 block of Crossfield Court between about 1 p.m. and about 3 p.m. Nov. 13. No signs of forced entry, a door was reported to have been left unlocked; property was taken.
Police seek a man for a commercial burglary at the American Dry Cleaners at 15813 Frederick Road in the early morning hours of Nov. 8. Forced entry; cash was taken.
A residential garage burglary and two thefts from vehicles occurred at the same home in the 10200 block of Shining Willow Drive between about 10:14 p.m. Nov. 8 and about 4:33 a.m. on Nov. 9. No signs of forced entry. The garage door was reported to have been left open; cash and property were taken.
Residential burglaries occurred in the following areas:
— In the 15600 block of Blackberry Drive between about 5 p.m. and about 6:15 p.m. Nov. 10. Forced entry; property was taken.
— In the 14400 block of Lake Winds Way between about 8 a.m. and about 7 p.m. Nov. 13. Forced entry; property was taken.
Bethesda
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 6800 block of Greyswood Road about 10:48 a.m. Nov. 9.
Silver Spring
A 22-year-old man from Rockville and a 29-year-old woman from Silver Spring were arrested for a strong-arm robbery in the 8200 block of Georgia Avenue in the early morning hours of Nov. 10. A man was assaulted and his property taken. A third man is sought.
Three teen-aged boys attempted a strong-arm robbery in the 700 block of University Boulevard East about 10:02 p.m. Nov. 8. A man was assaulted and they tried to take his property.
A man displayed a weapon in an aggravated assault in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Powder Mill Road about 5:43 p.m. Nov. 10.
A residential burglary occurred in the 11200 block of Oak Leaf Drive between about 2:30 a.m. and about 9:11 a.m. Nov. 11. No signs of forced entry; property was taken.
A vehicle theft and two thefts from vehicles occurred at the home residence in the 11900 block of New Hampshire Avenue between about 11 p.m. Nov. 6 and about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 7. No force, unknown means of entry into the stolen vehicle; cash and property were taken from the other two vehicles.
Vehicle thefts occurred in the following areas:
— In the 11200 block of Lockwood Drive between about 7 p.m. Nov. 8 and about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9. Two 16-year-old boys from Silver Spring were arrested. The victim reported losing the vehicle key on Nov. 8. The vehicle was recovered Nov. 10.
— In the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive between about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and about 6:30 a.m. Nov. 10. Unknown entry.
In the 11400 block of Lockwood Drive between about 7 p.m. and about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14. The vehicle was reported to have been left running with the keys in the ignition.
Residential burglaries occurred in the following areas:
— In the 14600 block of Wexhall Terrace between about 9:30 a.m. and about 7:15 p.m. Nov. 7. Forced entry; property was taken.
— In the 13200 block of Chopin Court at about 1:31 p.m. Nov. 10. No signs of forced entry, a window was reported to have been left unlocked; property was taken. A 25-year-old man from Silver Spring was arrested.
Wheaton
Three men attempted a strong-arm robbery in the area of the Matthew Henson Trail and Connecticut Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 9. The men assaulted the juvenile male victim and tried to take his property.
Two teen-agers — one about 14 or 15 and the other 16 or 17 — committed a strong-arm robbery in the 2200 block of Georgian Way at about 7:50 a.m. Nov. 6. The teens assaulted the juvenile male victim and took his property.
Residential burglaries occurred in the following areas:
— In the 2400 block of McMahon Road between about 8 p.m. on Nov. 5 and about 12 p.m. on Nov. 10. Forced entry; property was taken.
— In the 11100 block of Georgia Avenue between about 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 12 and about 9 a.m. Nov. 13. No signs of forced entry; property was taken.
A man displayed a weapon and took a man’s cash in an armed robbery in the 11200 block of Georgia Avenue about 6:15 p.m. Nov. 12.
A 17-year-old girl from Germantown was arrested for a vehicle theft in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive between about 5 p.m. Nov. 9 and about 9 a.m. Nov. 10. No force; the vehicle was reported to have been left unlocked with the keys inside. The vehicle was recovered on Nov. 11.
A man is sought for a residential burglary in the 12800 block of Sage Terrace in the early morning hours of Nov. 13. Forced entry; nothing was taken.
Montgomery Village
Vehicle thefts occurred in the following areas:
— In the 9700 block of Whetstone Drive between about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and about 10 a.m. Nov. 11. No force; the keys were reported to have been left inside the vehicle.
— In the 9100 block of Centerway Road between about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 13 and about 9 a.m. Nov. 14. Unknown entry. A 30-39-year-old man is sought.
A residential burglary and a vehicle theft occurred at the same residence in the 8200 block of Ironclad Court between about 9:45 a.m. and about 1 p.m. Nov. 13. Forced entry; property taken, keys to the vehicle were also taken and used to steal the vehicle.
A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Boxberry Court between about 10 a.m. and about 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 14. No signs of forced entry, a door and window were reported to have been left unlocked; property was taken.
