D1 Beat:

• Three thefts from vehicles occurred this week in the Rosemary Hills neighborhood of Silver Spring. Incidents occurred during overnight periods, on different days. One involved entry by breaking a window; the other two vehicles were entered with no signs of force. Vehicles were searched and loose items left inside were taken. Streets affected involved Sundale Drive and 16th Street.

D2 Beat:

• Graffiti was painted outside a construction site in the 4500 block of East West Highway, Bethesda sometime between Monday, 12/24 and Thursday, 12/27.

D3 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10200 block of Frederick Avenue, Kensington on Monday, 12/24 between noon and 8:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

• Four thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Sunday, 12/30 to Monday, 12/31 in this Chevy Chase beat. All four vehicles were unsecured; they were entered and searched. Three occurred in the 8600 block of Village Park Place; an iPod was taken from one of the vehicles. The fourth incident occurred in the 3700 block of Village Park Drive; nothing was reported missing.

• A residential burglary occurred on Sunday, 12/30 between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. in the 5000 block of Tothill Drive, Olney. Unforced entry; property taken.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in close proximity overnight Monday, 12/24 to Tuesday, 12/25 in this Olney beat. Most vehicles had been left unlocked; one had forced entry; and unknown entry on another. All were searched with a variety of items left inside taken: briefcase with cash, stamps, rosary, wallet, board games. Affected streets included: the 4300 and 4500 blocks of Mount Olney Lane, 19500 block of Charline Manor Road and the 32600 block of Dellabrook Street.

K1 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 14000 block of Connecticut Avenue, Silver Spring on Monday, 12/24 at 5:28 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspects: 2 B/M’s, both 18, both 6’ to 6’3”, ski masks.

• An aggravated assault occurred on Thursday, 12/27 at 3:18 a.m. in the 3800 block of Bel Pre Road, Silver Spring. The suspect is known to the victim.

• An aggravated assault occurred on Monday, 12/31 at 9:06 p.m. in the 12000 block of Centerhill Street, Silver Spring. The suspect is known to the victim.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in the Kemp Mill area of Silver Spring during the week. Three vehicles were entered with no signs of force, searched and items of value taken (GPS, iPod, iPad, cell phone). A fourth vehicle in the 400 block of Stonington Road had forced entry. Affected streets included: the 11200 block of Healy Street, 11400 block of Gilsan Street, 11500 block of Lovejoy Street and the 500 block of Hillsboro Drive.

• Two vehicle thefts also occurred in the Kemp Mill area. Incidents occurred in the 500 block of Hillsboro Drive and in the 11500 block of Lovejoy Street.

• A commercial robbery occurred on Thursday, 12/27 at 10:50 a.m. at Tienda Sula Musica, 11409 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
