Elrich Working to Relax Restrictions on Music Performances, Hours for Selling Alcohol
Montgomery County is currently still in Phase 2 of reopening but a few restrictions are being lifted.
During his weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday, County Executive Marc Elrich announced that outdoor performances are allowed under certain conditions, including a 50 person gathering restriction. Local leaders say there are plans to allow performances to operate across the county within the next week.
Elrich says the county is also considering re-extending the hours of selling alcohol after 10 p.m.
“We’re working to see if there is a way to do this,” said Elrich.
