Wheaton Redevelopment Program Meeting
The County is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 11, to give residents an update on the Wheaton Redevelopment Program.
Representatives from Stonebridge Carras/Bozzuto Development, the selected developer for the project, will lead a presentation on the current status of the proposed development plan along with details on the scope of the project and ideas for the design.
“Just as it has done at the previous meetings regarding this project, the County would like the community’s feedback as discussions progress for the development of a contract with the developer,” said Xavius daSilva-Thompson, Chief of Management Services for MCDOT.
The redevelopment program includes plans for a town square, retail space and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission office building in the Wheaton Triangle area.
The meeting will be held in the Wheaton High School cafeteria at 7 p.m. Find more information on the project here.
