County Targets Minority, Women, Or Disability Owned Businesses for Contracting Opportunities

The Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned Businesses (MFD) Program aims to provide thousands of local businesses with county contracting opportunities.

Montgomery County spends more than $1 billion in procurement projects each year, and local leaders want to ensure it’s done in an “equitable” manner. Hucker explains what major step the County Council is taking this week to protect the MFD Program’s growth.
