County Raising Awareness for Domestic Violence (VIDEO)

Montgomery County launched an awareness campaign Monday to ensure victims of domestic violence are aware of county programs that can help.

Ads on Ride On buses and at bus shelters will provide contact information for the Family Justice Center and the Abused Persons Program.

The ads were unveiled at a news conference at the Executive Office Building in Rockville. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The Family Justice Center can be reached at 240-773-0444. The Abused Persons Program can be reached at 240-777-4673.
