County Races Down to the Wire

Unofficial election results have Ike Leggett winning back his seat as Montgomery County Executive, but many other races are still too close to call.

In the Delegate 17 race:

In the race for the at-large seat on the Board of Education, Jill Ortman-Fouse has the lead.

MOCO BOE at-large candidate Jill Ortman-Fouse leads with 34.34 percent of vote with 97 precincts reporting.

Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz appeared to be pulling ahead in the race for the Montgomery County Council District 3 seat, but the race in District 5 is a tight one between local activist Evan Glass and former delegate Tom Hucker.

Beth Daly is making a push to unseat one of the incumbents in the Montgomery County Council at-large race and the closest to her in votes is George L. Leventhal.
