County Public Libraries’ Comic Convention Will Go On, Virtually
MoComCon, Montgomery County Public Libraries’ fifth comic convention, returns as a full day of online activities on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. The virtual event celebrates all things comic, graphic novel, and fandom. This free convention is open to all.
More details, including schedule, cosplay, art, and essay contest, are available on the website.
Lead-up events include:
- Superhero Storytime at 10 a.m.
- LEGO Master Presents – Blast off to space! at 11 a.m.
- Crafts – Create a Creature at 12:30 p.m.
- Crafts- Pipe Cleaner Superhero at 1 p.m.
- Redrawing the World: Creating New Landscapes in Comics – Panel Discussion at 2 p.m.
- Cosplay Contest at 3:30 p.m.
- Art Show at 5 p.m.
